The Arizona Chapter of Associated General Contractors, chartered in 1934, is a not-for-profit association of general contractors, subcontractors, and other construction industry affiliated firms engaged in highway, heavy, industrial and municipal-construction. The AGC is responsible in providing support to all of its members. In providing support to its member contractors, the AGC Apprenticeship and Craft Training Trust Committee has recommended that supportive training is available for apprentice personnel and other non apprentice personnel. At present there are three categories that can be explored to meet individual needs. Contractor Information The contractor information is related primarily for the contractor to become involved in the apprenticeship program and will give the contractor an overview of the program. To view this information click here on Contractor Information Craft Training Craft training is for non-apprentice craft personnel who want to improve their job knowledge and enhance their on-the-job skills. Two options are discussed allowing the individual to make a decision on which option would be best for them. The Operator Apprenticeship Program is the only apprenticeship program being conducted at this time. Other craft areas are being considered and will be announced as they are offered.
